Each June All Saints' offers a four-week summer program with a wide variety of classes, some offered for enrichment opportunities and others designed to reinforce academic skills. Enrollment at All Saints' is not necessary in order to attend summer school; students from all area schools are welcome.
Each class is one week in length, although parents may register their child for the same class, or different ones, for all four weeks. Parents also have the option of enrolling their child for one class daily, or building a partial-day or full-day schedule. A full summer school day is 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM. Students who stay for a full day can bring a sack lunch and eat together in a supervised area. Snacks are provided in all four-hour classes.
Offerings include Adventures with Dr. Seuss, Great Hikes and Geocaching, Safari, VansGogh, Write On!. Too Cool for School, Calling All Rock Heads, Guitar: Pick, Strum and Drum, Camping for Kids, Cooking Around the World, and much, much more!
Most of the teachers are members of the All Saints' faculty and have designed classes around their areas of expertise or special interests. Brochures and registration forms for the 2010 program are available in the School office or can be downloaded below. Grade level requirements are listed for each class. Some classes fill quickly, so register as early as possible.
If you have questions or would like help planning a full-day summer program for your child, please email Cathy Cohn or Carla Cotton, Directors of ASEDS Summer Program 2010, or leave a message at 602-274-4866.
