Support Services
- Car Pool – Facilitates carpooling by generating maps of the valley that identify families who live close by.
- Child Health Services – Assists the School in coordinating annual hearing and vision screenings.
- Grade Level Coordinator – The primary link between faculty and ASPA. Coordinates classroom activities requiring parent participation and provides support as requested from grade level advisors and homeroom teachers.
- Legal Counsel – Provides legal guidance to ASPA.
- New Family Orientation – Assists office of admissions in welcoming new families through the New Family Orientation event and in providing networking opportunities to integrate new and returning parents/student students to the All Saints’ community.
- Kindergarten Orientation – Assists office of admissions in welcoming new kindergarten families and providing opportunities for summer get-togethers with current families.
- Grade Five Orientation – Assists office of admissions in welcoming new grade five families and providing opportunities for summer get-togethers with current families.
- Nominating – Identifies interested candidates for the ASPA Executive Board.
- Outreach – Working with Grade Level Coordinators, organizes support efforts for All Saints’ families with emergency needs (meals, carpools, etc.).
- Parent Education – Arranges speakers and workshops for parent education throughout the year.
- Tiger’s Den – Students and parents can enjoy an after school snack at this shop staffed by parent volunteers. An account may be established for each child, or purchases can be made with cash.
- Uniform Exchange – Provides opportunities for parents to recycle and purchase gently used, outgrown uniforms.
- Admissions – Coordinates with the office of admissions to provide support for special events.
- Lunch Committee - Helps to oversee and coordinate lunch program. The Lunch Committee includes ASPA members, Day School faculty and staff, and Student Council representatives.
Student Enrichment
- Art Masterpiece – Working with the art teachers, coordinates classroom presentations by parents introducing students to artists and their masterpieces.
- Visiting Authors – Arranges for nationally and internationally known authors to visit school. Authors who visited during the 2007-2008 school year include Pam Muñoz Ryan, Keiko Kasza, and Cynthia Kadohata.
- Curriculum Enrichment and Cultural Diversity – Supplements the curriculum by arranging school visits where guests and groups who represent diversity speak and perform, and by identifying other resources.
- Spring Drama Programs – Coordinates with music and drama teachers to assist in arranging costumes, make-up, sets, and scenery for the series of spring performances by students in grades one through six.
- Library Support – Assists with various activities in the library, including arranging special events such as Game Week, Green Library Week, and Poetry Week; reading to children; and shelving books.
- André House - Organizes grades seven and eight community service projects including serving dinner at André House.
Special Events
- Faculty/Staff Appreciation – Recognizes the faculty and staff in special ways throughout the year. Coordinates and hosts the fall Welcome Back Luncheon.
- All Saints' Got Talent! - Coordinates community talent for a performance.
- Christmas Luncheon – A special holiday luncheon for faculty, administration, maintenance and church workers who support ASPA throughout the year.
- Hospitality – Provides refreshments for various school events throughout the year, such as the student drama productions, the Art Show, and Young Authors’ Night.
- Special Persons Day – Coordinates this event which provides an opportunity for grandparents, parents, and special friends to experience a morning at school with a chapel service, classroom visitations, a continental breakfast and a performance which showcases the musical and artistic talents of our students.
- Tiger Breakfasts – Coordinates a community breakfast in the Memorial Garden twice yearly, followed by an ASPA general membership meeting.
Fund Raisers
- Spring Fling – ASPA’s major fund raising dinner event, held in even-numbered years, includes a live and silent auction. Proceeds from this event go into the ASPA General Fund.
- Book Fair – A sale of books and reading-related items, this event provides an opportunity for parents to purchase summer reading material and support the All Saints’ library.
- Brick Project – A biennial event held in odd-numbered years providing for the sale and placement of memorial bricks on which names can be engraved. Proceeds go into the ASPA general fund.
- Gift Wrap – A fall sale of wrapping paper. Proceeds from sales in grades five through eight go into an account for each grade, to be used for a graduation trip; other proceeds go into the ASPA General Fund.
- Harvest Fair – An annual fall event that includes games, prizes, entertainment and dinner. Proceeds to into the ASPA General Fund.
- Pizza Thursday – Coordinates the sale and serving of a pizza lunch every Thursday in the All Saints’ kitchen and includes a salad bar. Proceeds from sales in grades five through eight go into an account for each grade, to be used for a graduation trip; other proceeds go into the ASPA General Fund.
- Tiger Dads Club Golf Tournament – An annual golf outing with sponsorships available. Proceeds go into the ASPA General Fund.
- All Saints’ All Star Productions – Coordinates the sale and distribution of professionally-produced videos of music and drama programs throughout the year. Proceeds go into the ASPA General Fund.
