Beth Hill earned her B.A. in English and M.Ed. with a focus in Gifted Education from Arizona State University. She currently serves as a fifth- and sixth-grade English teacher. Beth believes each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Her desire as a teacher is to help students reach their personal potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, encourages higher-order thinking, and invites a sharing of ideas. In the classroom, she incorporates a high-quality curriculum that cultivates motivation, stimulates a student’s desire to learn, and is focused on critical thinking and communication skills. Beth believes it is a privilege and honor to teach at All Saints', and she hopes to create an environment of discovery and learning that will transcend the classroom and remain with her students for years to come.
Shella Parcarey joined All Saints' in the Spring of 2025 as a member of the middle school English department. She brings a unique and diverse teaching background. She has taught literacy, reading, and math enrichment to students at various levels, as well as rhetorical analysis and composition to college students. Her academic achievements include an MFA in Writing from Pacific University and a BA in Political Science from Yale University.
Before transitioning to education, she worked as a journalist, honing her deep appreciation for storytelling and effective communication. She remains actively involved in the literary community as a writer and editor, contributing to various literary magazines and crafting fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry inspired by her memories of growing up in the Philippines.
Suzanne Scafuri joined All Saints' in 2012. She has been teaching English to students in the seventh and eighth grades for over 20 years. She believes that it is her responsibility to encourage students to move towards a love of learning that reaches outside the classroom, so that they can navigate the outside world with confident articulation, kindness, and empathy for others. Ms. Scafuri believes that when students read stories of others, they are better able to tell their own story and find their voice in their writing. As a lover of stories herself, Ms. Scafuri deeply values books and has a large collection of her own. She earned her Bachelor's in Secondary English Education in 1996 from Arizona State University and her Master's in Education from American InterContinental University. As a lover of animals, Ms. Scafuri has three dogs and six horses, who keep her busy when she not at school, reading, going to the movies, or trying new recipes.
