Chad Block has been in education for over 20 years. During that time, he has served as a fifth-grade teacher, an algebra teacher, an assistant principal, and a principal. Mr. Block earned a Master’s Degree in Education and holds a middle school math endorsement. He has a passion for teaching math and appreciates the opportunity to motivate and challenge students. Mr. Block spent his childhood in Phoenix, and he is thankful to be back near his family. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, watching sports, and hanging out with friends. Mr. Block feels blessed to be part of the All Saints’ community.
Alex Jeffers brings over six years of experience teaching STEM education, having taught mathematics, engineering, environmental science, and other STEM-based subjects in California and Arizona. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological and Ecological Sciences from Northern Arizona University and holds an MBA. Alex has taught students across high school, college, and specialized programs. She is passionate about building strong connections with her students while inspiring confidence and curiosity in the classroom. Outside the classroom, she enjoys working out, spending time with family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
Susan Mueller joined the All Saints’ faculty to teach math in the fifth and sixth grades and feels blessed to be a part of the All Saints’ community. She is originally from Indiana but has lived in the Phoenix area for over 45 years. Her academic degrees are a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and an M.A. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northern Arizona University. She has been in the education field for over 30 years in private and public schools and believes that motivating students to learn and embrace challenges with a growth mindset are primary goals in the classroom. Susan and her husband Doug have two adult children, Lauren and Scott, and their two dogs, Maggie and Emma. Her hobbies include playing golf, hiking with her dogs, gourmet cooking, and watching U of A Wildcat sports.
Kiera Sewell is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics. She brings recent experience teaching middle school math in central Phoenix, where she designed engaging lessons, supported diverse learners, and fostered a positive classroom culture. With strong subject-area expertise and a passion for helping students grow in confidence and critical thinking, Kiera is thrilled to join the All Saints’ middle school team. She enjoys trail running, reading, and playing board games with friends.
