Nicol Kardos joined the All Saints’ faculty in 2006. Nicol teaches eighth and seventh-grade science and the lego robotics elective. Additionally, she is the co-advisor for National Junior Honor Society and a coach for the All Saints’ Robo Tigers First Lego League team. Nicol grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and earned a B.S. in Environmental Education from The Ohio State University. Before joining All Saints’, Nicol enjoyed teaching science informally at science centers and nature centers in Ohio, California, Oregon, and Washington. Nicol moved to Phoenix in 2004 to serve as a Teach for America Corps member. During her time as a Corps member, Nicol taught middle school science and earned an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University. In her free time, Nicol enjoys hiking, swimming, listening to live music, and visiting family.
Mary Konczal is an Ohio native. She came to education after a 20-year career in materials management. Mary received both her 2005 bachelor's degree and her 2008 master's degree from Arizona State University. She taught math and science for seven years in the Madison School District before accepting a TAP Master Teacher position with the Mesa Public Schools in 2012. A passionate desire to return to the classroom led her to All Saints' in 2014.
Alison Moran joined the faculty at All Saints’ in 2011. She is originally from Montana and has previously lived in Belgium and Oregon. She earned a B.S.S.E. from the University of Portland where she studied Secondary Education, biology, and French. In 2015, she earned an M.Ed. in Gifted Education from Arizona State University and in 2022 she earned a D.Ed. Min. in Educational Ministry and Leadership from the Virginia Theological Seminary. Dr. Moran teaches science and a food science elective to students in the seventh and eighth grades. She serves as Clerk of the Chapter at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Phoenix. Dr. Moran enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, scuba diving, traveling to new places, and reading.
