Puppet Show Met with Rave Reviews

Recently, the Drama Elective students created puppets and wrote stories based on the classic nursery rhymes to perform for the kindergarten students.
The semester may be coming to a close, but the curtain is always open in Mrs. Humpage’s Drama Elective. Recently, students created puppets and wrote stories based on the classic nursery rhymes to perform for the kindergarten students.

The kindergarten students have been studying nursery rhymes, so they were eager to show off their knowledge of Jack and Jill, Little Miss Muffet, This Little Piggy, and Three Blind Mice.  The performances received rave reviews from the expert audience! Not only were the puppets fun to watch, but they encouraged audience participation. A great morning was had by all.

During the year, students in the Drama Elective develop their acting skills through a variety of performances: games, monologues (solo performances), paired dramas, small group dramas, a 30 minute play, Special Persons Day presentation, improvisation, mime, and a puppet show.
