The seventh grade science students put their dissection skills to the test when they tackled the chicken wing this week.
Seventh grade science students put their dissecting skills to the test. As part of their studies of the body systems, students in Ms. Kardos’ and Ms. Moran’s seventh grade science classes participated in the dissection of chicken wings. The chicken wing lab was a great way for students to see some important structures such as joints, tendons, ligaments, bones, fat, marrow, epithelial tissue, and muscle. Students were able to observe the skin, muscles, and skeleton working together as one in the chicken wing.
